Our story

Change begins when people are given the means to create it.

The Eternal Visionary Generation Organization (EVGO) is a newly established, women-led civil society organization in Ethiopia committed to contributing to a healthier, more peaceful, inclusive, empowered, productive and environmentally responsible society.

Who we are

The organization was founded on the belief that every generation has the capacity to create positive change when people are given knowledge, opportunity, leadership space and practical support. That belief is not a slogan for us — it is the design principle behind everything we do.

We seek to work collaboratively with communities, women, children and young people, government institutions, civil society organizations, private-sector partners, development agencies and other stakeholders. Our approach is community-centred, partnership-oriented and focused on practical solutions that can create lasting social impact.

Every generation has the capacity to create positive change when people are given knowledge, opportunity, leadership space and practical support.

How we work

We begin by listening. Programmes are co-designed with the communities they are meant to serve, delivered with care and local ownership, and then measured honestly so that what works can grow and what does not can be improved.
